My 8 yr old got this set for his birthday and put it together in a day. He spent all day putting it together.
This Lego set is the absolute cutest. My husband is a police officer and so this set was extra special, and probably why we would spend so much money on a Lego set.
The accessories are so cute. There are handcuffs, radios, megaphones, toilets in the jail cell. There is a coffee machine, water cooler, coffee cups, interview room, computer, mail box that opens, really cool police officers and prisoners, a trick wall for them to escape. keys for the jail cell, doors that really open.
The instructions are really easy to understand and can follow them exactly. The Lego’s are all in numbered bags so it’s easy to follow.
He has been playing with it now with it put together and would like to get the entire police line as well as the fire department and airport.
We just bought him the police helicopter to go with it. Next is probably the command center with the big rig and four wheeler.
I think this is a really good set and would highly recommend it.

Lego currently has two versions of police headquarters sets available. The #7744 set is far better and more entertaining than the #7237 product. My 6 year old son absolutely loves this set! There is so much “fun” detail included with the jail cells, garages that open and close, water cooler, offices, etc. Enjoy!

I had never bought an actual set to build before. We have a ton of legos that we just bought in buckets. This toy is the best! The instructions were so easy my 10 year old built it herself. The prison cells have little toilets and there is a water cooler in an office. All those little extras that make you go “COOL!”.

Always delighted with LEGO….BUT!!!!…..our 7 yr olds twin grandsons had some trouble assembling the unit…and it constantly fell apart…they wanted to actually play with it and it broke apart too often…I believe it’s really for an older child …..but instructions were great tho and easy to follow…….adult supervision was needed from step one thru completiong tho

I am 10 years old and this toy was easy to build. The instructions were clear. One problem the helicopter blade too large and it keeps stopping at the tail of the helicopter. There was not a piece missing. It’s fun to play with and does not fall apart easily. I enjoyed it very much. I recommend it to any person. It really looks like a police helicopter.

I keep this toy to one side and slightly behind a living room chair. Our 15 month old and 2 year old “find” it, and play with it long enough that my daughters and I can actually sit in the living room and talk for awhile.

When our 4 year old visits, he does every activity on the toy once, and then moves on to trucks and cars kept in a basket at the end of the sofa.

I always ask my daughter in law to tell me what to buy for any grandchild’s birthday….she chose this toy and once the wrapping was off, all of her 5 children (ages 10 years thru 1 year) were playing with the birthday boy !!! They had a blast and my 1 year old grandson continues to enjoy playing with this toy.

My 14-month-old loves these Duplo blocks. Me too, for that matter. We can sit and build stuff for 30-40 minutes at a time, which is a remarkable feat of focus for him. The colors are great, the blocks are big enough to be safe and manageable in his little hands. I look forward to this being the starting point of a lifelong love of Legos for him (just like his papa!)

I bought this for my (2 yr. old) Grandaughter’s birthday as an addition to “Ultimate Lego Duplo Building Set” & “Dora’s Backyard Surprise”. She absolutely loves the set & has played with it for hours…..everyday, since her birthday in February.
It’s wonderful to watch the progress of building skills & observe the idea’s of the little ones working with utilizing color, strategy & weight.
This is a definite “need to buy” item if you are purchasing the “ULTIMATE LEGO DUPLO SET”. Both sets will fit in the Ultimate Lego Duplo Hardcase & are excellent additions to other sets like……Dora’s Backyard Surprise.

I bought this toy because my children loved to play with pattern blocks at science and art museums. This was the only toy I found with real wood blocks that were the size and feel of the toys they had played with earlier. Using the blocks alone, my children loved to create an endless number of beautiful geometric patterns. The toy encourages creativity and promotes mathematical thinking.

My daughter, who was five or six at the time, tried using the picture boards. At her age, she was able to do it although it was frustrating when the pieces moved out of place. For awhile, she thought that she had to use the picture boards in order to play with the toy properly. Once she got over that, we had a wonderful toy again.

If you throw away the picture boards from the beginning and let your child’s creativity take over, you have a 5 star toy that even older children and adults enjoy tinkering with.

My daughter received these pattern blocks as a present. At 3 1/2, she now loves to play with them. She enjoys the challenge of putting the blocks on the pattern boards and making pictures. Yes, as another reviewer noted, the wood blocks can slide around on the wood pattern boards. My daughter was initially frustrated that the blocks didn’t “stick”. But, this is not intended to be a puzzle. After sitting with her a few times and showing her she could just move the blocks back into place, the frustration was gone. This is one of her favorites. She especially likes to pick out 2 of the boards and have someone else make one picture while she’s making another.

Nice looking and well designed tank.
A fairly easy build but it comes with some neat stuff…
PRO’s-a small hidden patrol car that holds one of the Battle Droids which comes out the back of tank(and can be seen from a hatch below the top hatch), 4 flick fire missiles, top hatch can close neatly with Battled Droid inside and 7 minifigures(2 Battle Droids, 3 Super Battle Droids, One Clone Tropper and the best of which is a real nice Yoda figure). Yoda’s head is actually made of a soft plastic/rubber. Nicely scuplted. Would recommend this model. Fun to play with and it moves very well on smooth surfaces with several shallow domed shaped pieces below the vehicle to simulate a slight hover effect.
CON’s-Guns to the left and right fall off from time to time. Wish it had a tighter fit or set deeper into the side arms of the tank. Two front stickers to simulate a metal plate could’ve been subsituted with a lego brick plate to look a little better. Recommend when you put the stickers there, make sure they line up with each other have a nice symetrical look.

This set is incredible. It comes with Yoda and a clone and 3 super battle droids with new arms.

I loved playing with LEGOs as a kid, and I love Star Wars, and so does my husband – so when my husband and I got engaged we registered for a bunch of Star Wars/Indiana Jones LEGO sets. I know it seems like a weird registry gift, but why not?

To our surprise, we actually did get quite a few LEGO sets from our friends, and I think so far this is my favorite – it has some really neat pieces and it was fun to put together. It’s now on display on our DVD shelf. The missle launcher is fun too My husband really liked putting together the treads for the hailfire droid’s wheels.

Bought this for my 9 year old grandson, who adores Lego and has for years. My grandson LOVED it and was thrilled to get it as one of his Christmas presents. He had it built within a very short period of time. Because these kids get so good at assembling Lego, (and I am not sure if this is already the case) I would like to see Lego develop some kits for higher levels of expertise, and more challenging for those Lego maniacs like my grandson who can go for “zero to 60 in 3 seconds flat!” Didn’t matter to him, he was happily playing with it all day. God bless Lego–it has kept kids thoroughly entertained for decades.

Honestly, I bought this set mostly for the minifigs. The shuttle is okay…a bit too small. Still very happy with the purchase.

The Separtist Shuttle is a nice mid-size Lego vehicle. You’re 6 yr. old on up should have no trouble putting this together. It has a nice design (almost ‘insectoid’ in appearance) and a neat rear opening sliding door.

Pro’s-Ship design, opening front cockpit with a blue bodied Battle Droid pilot, retractable front and rear landing gear, a clever technic system that opens a sliding rear door to reveal a small chamber which holds a Nute Gunray mini figure which can be slide out. Also comes with 2 regular Battle Droids and an Onaconda Farr mini-figure(nice head sculpt of Greedo). Also of note is that I like how Lego designed the rear tail fin to be hollow so as the attenae on the front opening cockpit won’t interfere with opening and closing.

Cons’s-Really none except that the cockpit is quite bare. Could’ve used some elements of design to show working controls, lights, etc. No biggie. Anyone can modify the cockpit to add details to it.

Final note, note sure but perhaps someone can clarify…I believe the Nute Gunray and Onaconda Farr mini-figures are exclusive to this set.
